How this coloring book came to be

I have a rather obsessive need to do everything on my own, but this project was a collaboration with my talented friend Malka! Malka Barshishat is originally from The Czech Republic, as was Alphonse Mucha, one of the leading figures of the Art Nouveau movement! We thought it would be fun to experiment with this style of drawing, and because the holiday of Shavuos is coming up, this coloring book was born. Each page was designed, sketched, and inked by hand. No AI was used in the creation of this coloring book, and we hope you will appreciate the beauty in the imperfections, the love of the art style, and the joyful celebration of the Shavuos holiday. Our drawings highlight the giving of the Torah, the bikurim (the first fruits brought as a gift to the Temple), the shivat Ha’minim (7 special fruits of the Land of Israel), the custom of eating dairy foods and decorating the the house with flowers, and the Book of Ruth. Each page has been hand-drawn with loving attention to beauty, detail, and Jewish tradition. You will receive 14 printable coloring pages, plus templates for flower garlands and napkin rings to decorate your holiday table! We both go crazy for this style, and hope you will too! Enjoy!
